Dr. P. Selvaraj, Chairman

• Dr. P. Selvaraj is a distinguished educationist, industrialist, philosopher, and mentor who has dedicated more than 35 years to the advancement of higher education in Tamil Nadu. Widely respected among the academic and professional community, he has been instrumental in the remarkable growth of several premier institutions, including J.J. College of Engineering and Technology, Kurinji College of Engineering, and SSK College of Engineering.

• Driven by a strong commitment to social responsibility, Dr. Selvaraj actively promotes and financially supports education for students from poor and rural backgrounds. His vision is to ensure that quality education reaches every deserving student and becomes a powerful tool for social transformation.

• In recognition of his significant contribution to educational research, he was awarded a Doctorate by Florida University, USA, for his work on "Methods of Preventing Children from Discontinuing Their Education at the Primary Level."

• As the Secretary of the Consortium of Self-Financing Professional, Arts & Science and Engineering Colleges in Tamil Nadu, Dr. Selvaraj plays a vital role in shaping and implementing educational policies in collaboration with the Government, contributing to the continuous improvement of higher education across the state.

• He also serves as a Member of the Trichy District Welfare Committee, chaired by the District Collector, Tiruchirappalli, where he actively participates in initiatives aimed at the overall development and welfare of the district.

• Under his visionary leadership, our institution continues to nurture excellence in education, innovation, ethical values, and service to society.
