• Dr. Balasubramaniam's research focuses on Manufacturing Technology, Composite Materials, Electrical Discharge Machining (EDM), Artificial Intelligence in Manufacturing, and Industrial Engineering. His doctoral work optimized technological parameters in EDM for aluminium silicon carbide composite materials.

Selected achievements:

• Published 4 international journal papers and 12 international conference papers.

• Holds patents for IoT-based Eco-Friendly Organic Waste Composter and AI-based Predictive Machinery Failure System.

• Reviewer for the Journal of Brazilian Society of Mechanical Sciences and Engineering.
